ABOUT ME

I'm someone who loves searching and experimenting, travelling and meeting people to have funny/serious/deep conversations with about music, culture, strange habbits .... (depending on the situation :-)).
I love cosyness, feeling home, welcome, and I also giving something back to others (like cooking, making something, playing music on stage, or just giving advice to others...)

PHILOSOPHY

Feel the inside river of your personality, please don't fake! Be spontanious and live in the 'NOW' time, not the past or the future.

And also: "Every adventure, new experience is good, positive or negative. You learn to know yourself, and others with it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I learnt to know the surfing-site by my friend. He said it's a great experience, it's more then hosting or sleeping on a couch, it's
meeting people, exchanging experiences...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We stayed in Berlin for some days, with a nice girl, she hosted us in her apartment, we didn't see her a lot but although, it was very nice to be trusted 'like friends',from the beginning. We got the key and she gave us usable tips where to go... it was a great experience!

Interests

Music, books, art, have a nice walk in nature or a nice (not too crowded) city, concerts, theatre...

'Creativity is messy and I'm very creative'
this is a good sentence for me :-). Most of the time I'm searching and being creative, it is what makes life worth for me!! (but, and it doesn't work without being messy!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

*Iceland.. so beautiful and very special. Crazy vulcanos and icemountains, scaring pureness...

*Being on stage and getting the energy of the crowd is wonderful, this year I played solo for the first time with my violin and it was so special to feel everyone enjoying my music...

Teach, Learn, Share

- I like adventures, like getting lost in a city and then having to watch on the map/or ask people how to go back. Lovely!
- Some instruments I play are: violin, piano,ukulele,melodica...And maybe we can play together or I can teach you something?
- I can learn you some Dutch words, a very strange language ;-)
- I like to speak french, it's my second language as I live in a complicated bilangual country. Maybe we can chat a bit?
- I'm very proud of my city, Ghent, centre of Belgium, and can you tell all about it or take you around!
- I like cooking and experimenting. Like baking strange cookies and cakes. :-)
