ABOUT ME

I'm about 7'4" and 500 pounds. I love wrestling, but do not shy away - I am a gentle giant. I was born in Grenoble, France, on a fine day in May of 1946. Many people call me the 8th Wonder of the World, and I am like the Mount Everest of drunkards. Seriously, I can kill a cool hundred pack a day.

Just kidding. My name is Sarah. I'm about 5'9" and 120 pounds. I love Andre the Giant.

I occasionally act as tour manager for five of the coolest dudes ever, Quiet Hollers. Generally, if I'm begging you for couches, it's because we're on the road. Back home, I live with the singer, Shadwick, and our furry pals. We have a boy dog, Oscar, and a girl cat, Terrence. Our home is a cabin on a large conservation easement. We love it, and if you visit, you'll likely love it too. Unless you hate nature, then maybe it won't be enjoyable.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that the "higher power" is actually the dynamic human spirit. I find fulfillment and purpose through meeting people and forging meaningful connections.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently preparing to hit the road again on tour, so unable to host. We'll probably be able to put a couple people up at a time when we return to Louisville, though we are looking at a busy summer and are going a bit crazy. Anytime I'm in town, I am absolutely available to take you around, hang about, and show you the rad stuff we have to offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been a regular couch-surfer and all around adventurer for about six years, though I'm new to this site. Lived and slept in punk houses, barns, collectives, alleys, tiny apartments, massive apartments, outside, and everywhere in between, all the while having a blast much more often than not. Now I find myself in a bonfide house, where I live with my boy Shadwick, our dog Oscar Wilde, and our little cattens Oliver and Terrence. It rules.

Interests

Camping, hiking, climbing things (not so much rock-climbing - I've never been - but general monkeying around), being outside, gardening, food, unplanned and poorly planned adventures, urban exploration, guerilla art, art from found objects, comic books, book books, beer, and photography.
