Hi! I'm Sara, a 24-year-old Canadian who recently returned home after living, working and traveling in Europe for about 15 months. I spent a year in Germany working as an au pair (like a live-in nanny) and am looking to head back to Europe as soon as I can... I'm always up for meeting new people, learning about different cultures/perspectives, and sharing a good laugh. I'm fairly laid-back and constantly planning my next adventure. *Update: After two months at home I decided to come back to Europe. I'm currently working as an au pair in Driebergen (close to Utrecht), in the Netherlands :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of Couchsurfing and staying with locals. My first experiences Couchsurfing this past summer were super positive and I'd love to continue meeting fellow travellers and like-minded people through Couchsurfing on my travels.

I would love to improve my cooking skills! I love trying new food and I'm always interested in learning how to cook some new food too.
I'm currently learning Dutch and hope to continue learning French when I return to Canada.
I'm always up for sharing stories over a beer or glass of wine!
