CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to provide hospitality to travelers in my city, and to get to know new people. In a few months, when I am finally able to give to my own wanderlust, I might try surfing on some other folk's couches.

ABOUT ME

I love hosting people and especially cooking for people. I don't always have time to show guest around the city -- I currently work 3 jobs and sometimes my schedule gets hectic -- but my roommates and I live near bus and metro lines. I have two roommates, both of whom are really awesome people (and couch surfers themselves) and we're looking for a fourth right now. We also share the apartment with a cat.

For the most part I'm a homebody, but I've been feeling my own wanderlust growing over the past few months and am looking forward to traveling west (I'm moving to Washington state in the late summer).

Things I can share: I studied literature in college, and can knit a little, and I'm a decent cook. I also know a bit about the local plants and animals and habitats that I will share at the slightest provocation.

I'd like to learn to knit something other than a scarf (just not that useful in Miami), and anything else anyone would want to share with me.
