I am travelling in Europe until the end of August 2025, but then I'll be home.

A wandering soul, I found roots in Maine, after a childhood in Belgium and youth in Québec. After travelling in Brazil, India, Indonesia, Senegal and Europe, I founded a land-based collective in the US, before now living in an urban housing coop. I work as an interpreter for asylum seekers speaking French or Portuguese in Maine. In 2021, I moved back home, to Sherbrooke in Quebec. I taught "francization" classes to immigrants in Québec (before massive cuts in the programs by the governement).

I'm a life-lover, go-getter, communication-obsessed, hip-mama, friendship-soaker human beaming.

I have hosted my fair share of couch-surfers back in the days... And I have fond memories of everyone who came through.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I gave birth to both of my children at home, surrounded by my friends, without medical assistance of any kind. The birth of my son is part of a documentary movie about birth around the world called "Le premier cri" (The First Cry) that was premiered in Paris in 2007 and that you can find on YouTube.
