Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I enjoy a diverse range of music, from indie rock and acoustic folk to world music and classic hits. Some of my favorites include Coldplay, The Lumineers and local artists from the places I visit. I love discovering new tunes from different cultures!
Movies:
I'm a fan of travel documentaries, adventure films and anything that sparks wanderlust. Some of my all-time favorites are Into the Wild, Beach, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and Before Sunrise. I also enjoy a good drama or comedy every now and then.
Books:
I’m drawn to travel memoirs and adventure novels that inspire me to explore the world. On the Road by Jack Kerouac, Wild by Cheryl Strayed, and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho are a few of my top picks. I also enjoy reading books that explore different cultures and histories.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I’ve done is trekking to the top of a mountain at sunrise, where I watched the sky transform into a breathtaking palette of colors. The serenity and beauty of that moment, surrounded by nature’s grandeur, made me feel incredibly connected to the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I can teach you some basics of my native language, share travel tips for hidden gems in the places I've explored.
Learn:
I’m always eager to learn about new cultures, languages, local customs and any special skills or stories you have to share. Every place and person I meet teaches me something new!
Share:
I’d love to share my travel experiences, stories from my adventures and a good conversation over a cup of coffee or local cuisine. I can also share recommendations for unique destinations and off-the-beaten-path spots.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my travel stories, a positive attitude and a genuine interest in learning about my host’s culture and experiences. Whether it’s cooking a simple meal from my country, exchanging language tips or giving travel advice, I love meaningful conversations. I’m happy to help with small tasks around the house or contribute in any way I can to make the experience enjoyable for both of us.
