About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Being positive, getting to know people, visiting places and... laughing so hard I can barely stand up.
ABOUT ME
Ciao! I'm just a regular Italian lady in love with the world.
I define myself as an extroverted introvert: I'm open to any kind of experience, I feel incredibly inspired when I'm surrounded by people but once in a while I need some "me time" to recharge and be fully present. It can be one hour drinking tea in a café, a solo hike in a forest or a cozy evening looking at the stars.
I also love languages, untouched nature, calm sea, flavorful wine, good music and deep conversations.
PHILOSOPHY
I've been self-conscious and insecure about my body until a few years ago. Then I've realized something simple, yet profound: my body works. My legs and feet allow me to run, jump and explore. My mouth and stomach let me eat food filled with flavor. My arms allow me to hug the people I care about. My voice and ears allow me to communicate and understand life in multiple languages.
Who really gives a damn about aesthetics when our bodies and minds are capable of so much more?
I have 2 quotes I feel deep in my heart.
- "The mind is like a parachute, it doesn't work unless it's open". Heard about this one from my English teacher when she was introducing herself for the first time, she immediately became one of the best teachers I've ever had.
- "Carpe diem". As cliché as it sounds, I strongly believe every moment that comes in our life must be taken and lived to the fullest: time goes by so fast sometimes. Make sure you're alive today, then!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to get the opportunity to discover new places while meeting awesome people. I do believe in the kindness of strangers and that there are far more good than bad people out there.

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach about my home country some amazing things that never make it into book guides. I can teach you some of the languages I'm learning, how to properly swear in Italian, a few photography tips and the coolest (lamest?) Italian card game ever.
Learn: there is so much I want to learn about - more about life, art, how to rock climb, play the guitar, surf, code, play cricket...
Share: I can share my life experiences, unforgettable moments, deep talks about anything that crosses our minds.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Most of the Italians on Couchsurfing bring to the table their cooking skills... well, I'm no different haha!
One of my dreams is to cook Italian recipes around the world to wildly different people. Are you down to try them?
Other than some heartwarming dishes, I can help you with anything around the house!
