I'm 20 years old young woman from Finland. Travelling is one of the things in my life I really love and enjoy and one of the best part of it is meeting locals and sharing experiences and maybe making some new friends! I'm also into eco things, scouting, dancing, music etc... At the moment I'm leading one scout group and planning to volunteer in national or international level also. I'm also really into folklore scene right now, I'm dancing finnish folk dance and playing kantele ( national instrument of Finland). I really enjoy getting to know culture, my own and cultures of other countries!

I'm going to USA this summer because world scout jamboree 2019 and I'm doing my own trip before and after the camp. I guess couchsurfing would be great for me because I'm mostly travelling alone and I would really like to get to know with local people! It would be awesome to share some stories and tips and maybe do something together :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love many different songs from different genres but most of my favourite songs are rock, pop, punk and folk or some kind of combinations of those genres. My favourite bands and artists are mostly finnish like Haloo Helsinki, Apulanta, Sanni, PMMP, Suistamon Sähkö and Okra Playground. My not-finnish-favourites are maybe All time low, Lady Gaga, Shakira, Taylor Swift and Coldplay .

My favourite movies are Harry Potter's and Studio Ghibli movies like Totoro , Spirited away and Princess Mononoke. I also love the first barbie movies like Swan Lake and Moomin series and movies. Some other movies I like a lot are Titanic, The Impossible, Millenium triology and something like that. And my favourite series is Orange is the new black!

My favourite books are Harry Potter's and then maybe Looking for Alaska, No impact man, Madventures books and something like that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam in Arctic Ocean after 1-week-long hiking trip in Northern Norway! It's hard to pick just one thing but that is one of the coolest ( literally also) thing I have done :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

A lot of things! Experiences, stories, tips and tricks.. There's so much to do together! I can show places in my own city I really enjoy seeing some places with locals when I'm travelling! and you can just ask anything you would like to share with me and we can try to make it happen!
