About Me

Hi there. I'm a 20 year old media student. When I'm not blogging, I can be found annoying my lil siblings, laughing at my own jokes, dreaming what life would be like if I was a pirate and if the wallet allows it, travelling!

But on a more serious note.. I'm an Ayn Rand fan turned Amnesty activist. I love stories and am a curious, adventurous person. I believe all good conversations are an exchange. Talking about aliens is great for awkward silences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The student life leaves one penniless.

I also get lonely. I come from a big family and though travelling alone makes one feel quite resilient, I love people and want to meet strangers from all walks of life.

I can promise you hearty laughs, soul food and witty conversation!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived on a boat with 250 youth, half of which were japanese for a cross-cultural exchange. I skipped every single class to do my own journalism project called "humans of SWY" which I'm quite proud of! Check it out if you're interested

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a fascination for new media techniques and the mixture of media+spirituality.
I do most of my teaching by listening.. a sly interviewer I am . You'll understand after we meet ;)

I've also been involved in activism for 3 years now and run a youth newspaper with Amnesty International.

I have some rowdy stories from my travels due to my recklessness that doesn't seem to fade with time
