ABOUT ME

I am a 20 year old college student who has just studied abroad for the past couple months in a little city called Perugia in Italy. I absolutely loved it and so I extended my stay in Europe. My friend that I met in Italy and I are traveling for two weeks until we return to the States. I am a spontaneous and easy going person that is open to trying and doing almost anything...except eating red meat. This is my first time in Europe or out of the country in general and I am taking advantage of every second of it! La vita bella!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just joined CS and I think it is fantastic. It is an amazing idea and gives me hope in humanity and good people in this world. I hope to surf a lot in my youth and when I am older host people who were just like me: young, curious, and wide-eyed!

I have heard a lot of great stories about experiences with CS but have not yet had one of my own!

Interests

I love sailing beyond anything else or just being out in the ocean. I love nature and being outside and in the sun. I am active and have always been athletic. My favorite things to do are bike, swim, run, read, and just relax with my friends with a few drinks! Soccer is my favorite sport and I have been playing since I was four. I also like other sports including tennis, football, lacrosse, snowboarding/skiing, and hockey. I also love animals, especially dogs, horses, and sea animals.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading although I wish I had more patience and time for it. Some books I like are the Twilight Series (you either hate it or you love it), Jodi Picoult books, gushy romances and classics. As for movies I like comedy such as Superbad and romances like The Holiday and classics like Pretty Women. As for music I like everything except screamo emo music. My favorite is Alternative and I love Country music as well. Classic oldies like Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen are always good as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen a lot of really amazing things just this semester studying abroad. One of my favorite things I did was go to the Egadi Islands off of Sicily and rent scooters with my friends. It was a private paradise. We had never rode before and I had a friend on the back. We discovered cliffs, caves, and many dirt pathways overlooking astonishing views of the bluest water you can imagine. We even jumped in the icy Mediterranean. It was a day of utter bliss with no one else in sight. I have never been so in love with this world.
