ABOUT ME

I am love. But also I am a happy and grateful lady who is really just excited about this life! I live with my cousin/soul sister, who is one of the most amazing and awesome people in the whole world! She is an ESL teacher, so if anyone wants help with their English this may be the couch for you!

I like to wake up early in the morning, there is a light and feeling early morning that is unlike any other time of day. I am happiest when on my yoga mat, or surrounded by the people I love. I consider myself to be pretty creative, and am always trying to come up with new projects and ideas. I really appreciate simple pleasures in life, and try to fill my life with as many as possible. I love good food, good wine, and good tea. Molly and I are actually currently working on becoming better cooks, so we will see how that goes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am still new to this amazingness, but basically am super excited to show people how delightful the state of Colorado is! I love to meet new people and make new friends. I crave adventure and new experiences and feel that this is a great way to connect to others who share this passion!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I lived in Boulder my friends hosted a lot of surfers, one of whom ended up moving to Boulder for like 6 months and living with them. I always really enjoyed getting to know these people, and would like to meet more interesting surfers.

兴趣

Like any good Colorado girl on most days off I am found hiking, camping, backpacking, just getting outside and enjoying this beautiful state! I love my bikes and am a serious bike commuter. Art is very important in my life and I make it a priority to surround myself with beauty. I am a happy yogi who attempts to maintain a daily practice. I love to go to live music, and in general I LOVE to dance. It is one of the times I feel most free. However, I also really enjoy just chilling out with friends sharing a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and just talking. I read a lot, and like to watch interesting and beautiful films...

Music: I prefer live :), anything I can dance to, but my current most played are Brandi Carlile, Brett Dennen, Lucy Michelle and the Velvet Lapelles , Lynx, Edward Sharpe, Honeyhoney the list is never ending.

Books: Middlesex, My sisters keeper, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, the Namesake and I just finished unaccustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lahiri, and yeah pretty much love her books right now!

Humpback whales are my favorite animal and I have seen the bubble net feed in Alaska and mating in Maui! SWEEET!

I am a yogi and love to share its gifts with people. I think the best teacher is life, and sharing your own experiences with others. I want to share my journey with others as we grown and learn through each other, by looking through each others eyes.

I also want to share Denver with people, because I LOVE it here! I also sew a lot so if you want to learn some cool sewing tricks...
