Hiya!

I'm Sari, a 25-year-old girl from the Netherlands, I'm currently on my second adventure around New Zealand. Couldn't stay away. :)

Apart from enjoying New Zealand's natural beauty, I do have other interests. Although meals on the road tend towards couscous, I love to cook and bake! I also love to dance - preferably with the two friends I managed to drag across to the other side of the world with me. :) I have a degree in English Lit and have always been an avid reader.

Besides Dutch, both of my friends and I speak English fluently - and even some French and German if you want to get really exotic. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friends and I are looking to vary between staying at hostels, camping and couch surfing to keep our costs down and to get in touch with lovely new people while we're at it. The three of us would love to pay you a visit and come by with our trusty orange Nissan called Maggie (short for Margaret the Third).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music. Jeremy Loops, Phoenix, Kygo, Fleetwood Mac, Twenty One Pilots, All Time Low.. you name it. ;)

In terms of books I read a lot of different things as well. Fantasy is definitely a genre I love (think: the Name of the Wind, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and everything Neil Gaiman), but I also love Margaret Atwood and David Mitchell, for example.
