ABOUT ME

I am a secondary teacher in Vienna. My students are 10 to 14 years old and I teach German, Biology and other stuff ;)
Matthias, my boyfriend does something with computers (don't ask me, what exactly it is ;)) and he is a student at the technical university in Vienna.

My boyfriend and I moved into our apartment in october...so it is not perfect yet, but anyway I like the place already!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not so much....but I hope this will change soon.

Matthias once "surprised" me with an italian Erasmus student, who ended up living with us for one month. Although, I wasn't really thrilled in the beginning (I mean how would you feel when your boyfriend shows up with another good looking girl ;)), we enjoyed our time together by cooking, drinking wine and going out. We helped her with some of the troubles you have when you come somewhere new.
We also hosted lots of other people- so I do have experience in hosting ;)

Interests

Cooking, Eating, Skiing, Hiking...and I like dogs but I don't have time and a place big enough for having one. plus: Matthias doesn't like dogs

Movies: In China They Eat Dogs, Barfuss (Barefoot) , Keinohrhasen (Rabbit Without Ears), Die fetten Jahre sind vorbei (The Edukators), Zusammen ist man weniger allein (Ensemble, c'est tout), Ice Age, Shrek.......

Books: My favorite one is "Hallo Mister Gott, hier spricht Anna"
authors I like: Byll Bryson (always great and funny!!!), Max Frisch(Homo Faber, Mein Name sei Gantenbein), Heinrich Böll, Erich Fried-poems, Haderer (he is a famous austrian caricaturist, coming from my hometown), and lots more

Music: from Muse, over Classical music to Salsa and Jonny Cash - I like different styles of music depending on my mood
