CURRENT MISSION

Mission... pretty much to get all my diplomas and move to Montreal or Ottawa for a fancy job in the next few years. Also, travel as much as possible.

ABOUT ME

I love being around people and going out but I define myself as a bookworm and probably a bit of an introvert. I tried to hide this part of me for the longest time but at some point you gotta live with it!! So... that's what I do :)
Also know that I am really into books, museology, video games, board games, cinema and cooking (vegan).

Right now my life totally revolves around university (full time studying + part time working as a prof.'s assistant) so I simply cannot host anyone. But, if you're staying in the Sainte-Foy area, send me an email (sarahpoirier3@gmail.com) and I can meet you up for coffee/beer and give you tips for traveling in my city.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to be as good a member as I can be! but I am not as active as I was a while back.

Well, I used to be very active in 2011-2014 when I was traveling all year long and when I shared a house in Guatemala. Right now, I have a flat in Québec city and I would rather not host anyone since I don't have a spare room nor the time to show you around. I'll definitely host again once I own a proper house in 3-4 years and can offer something nicer to couchsurfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's been 8 years now that I do couchsurfing. I used to be very involved in the CS community (going to meetings, hosting every weekend and being hosted all the time when traveling) but I changed a lot since that period of my life. I'm no longer that young, careless, ''bohemian'' girl who was making risky choices and traveling ten months per year... Although, I learned a lot through those experiences and now that I'm an adult, I want to share my story with the people I meet.

Right now, I live in downtown Québec city (about 500m from the university) and I'm doing amazing but I definitely don't host as much as I once did.
