I a€™m known by many as the Goddess of CONNECTIONS (aka THE Sarong Goddess!!)!! I’m an Information Junkie that spends most of my day gathering & sharing information to help others lives be easier/more FULL!

I’m the type of person that LOVES/Gives DIRECT communications!! I live my life (MOST of the time) on PURPOSE/CONSCIOUS & ESPECIALLY LOVE to have people around me that get that concept!! I am SOOOO NOT a bitch (as MANY unconscious types will think from the way I write – especially the “victim-types”) – I just CHOOSE to have an INCREDIBLY AWESOME LIFE & share it with others seeking similar experiences & that’s how it shows up for me – in living in a magical country (though FARRR from perfect!) & sharing with other LIKE MINDED folk (this ESPECIALLY means NO MOOCHERS!!!)!!

I respect you/your time hence I give you a more detailed than most blurb on what I’m seeking with my CS connections.

I LOVE people that have DETAILS on their profile about who you are!!! Who WRITE ME IN ENGLISH (since my profile is OBVIOUSLY in English & states that that is ALL I speak - especially because I like to have DEEP conversations - to REALLY get to know each other). I'd LOVE to know what we have in common (VALUES - not just that we've traveled somewhere similar)!! Why do I want to spend MY/OUR precious time together.

If I had one word to describe me/my beliefs/who I am/what I aspire to be it would be "CONNECTIONS"!

IF I come surf at your place I PROMISE you I will bring my own food & bedding/towels & offer to help out as I don't want to make your life harder because I was in it. I will leave where I stay as good as or better than when I came!

PHILOSOPHY
I LOVE LIFE & KNOW that there is PURPOSE for EVERYTHING!! I work HARD (15-20 hours a day but it's my PASSION & PASSION GIVES you energy - it does NOT take it away) hence why I'm SOOOOO DIRECT as anything less than CONNECTING takes me off Purpose/doesn't nourish my Spirit.

Because I work so hard, I won't have lots of time to kibitz but if you're interested, it WILL have meaning/purpose & we ALL WILL have more opportunities to GROW/REMEMBER our TRUE SELVES!!!!

I believe that EVERY THING happens as an OPPORTUNITY/GIFT for us to HEAL stuff from our childhood!! It's not about "blaming" - it's about acknowledging where it comes from so we can ALL move FORWARD!!!

Hence there are NO "victims" (again - this is MY belief) - hence I'm NOT interested in guests that have a history of believing they've been "victimized" (hence keep creating the situations - not waking up to release WHY they keep attracting situations!).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I signed up, I never saw myself using CSing for myself - but boy does the Universe have other things in store for us as I've closed my guest house & am now traveling around Costa Rica & Nicaragua House & Pet Sitting so I'd LOVE to CS/Connect with others when I'm in between gigs or new in a town!!

I'm ONLY interested in people that speak 1/2 decent English (so we can DEEPLY connect) & ideally people that have similar beliefs in Self Empowerment & Spirituality (NOT religious) or are at least curious about it.

Places I stay in MUST have good Internet & cell connection, not lots of mosquitos/fleas & such & be easy to get to/from via bus (especially since I have a torn tendon in my knee!).

I also share info on what's going on around CR sometimes on various groups & have LOTS of info on the Escazu area & for people interested in gathering info on Relocating to CR - but who want the TRUTH - NOT the flowery version!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted quite a few CSers in the days that I had a home & I've been hosting even total strangers in my home since I was the president of AFS in high school (the foreign exchange student program) MANY years ago (like 35!!). Didn't see myself CSing - just hosting - but things have changed & I look forward to the experience!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Had "signs" that have gotten me to move to San Diego, Sarasota, Florida & Costa Rica - places I knew no one (1 person in SD) & in CR - didn't even know the language!!

Wherever I go - be it live or travel to, I DIVE into wherever I am & PARTICIPATE & find a way to GIVE BACK to the people/area!! (something I feel we ALL have an obligation to do).

MOST of my traveling has been solo (it's MUCH easier to meet new people, learn new things & learn more about MYSELF!!!) - including 3 months throughout much of Europe, 5 trips to Italia, 4 to Germany!

I've had a business in Puerto Vallarta Mexico (not easy back then being a woman also [though I have not lived there but did travel there a lot]).

MANY people think things like this are "amazing" but to me - it's just part of a regular day - LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST!!!!

It's all been pretty AWESOME ride (challenges/"Growth Opportunities" & ALL)!!
