Overview
About Me
Hey there! I’m Sarra — a curious soul who’s been caught up in the rhythm of work for a while, but lately, I’ve felt this strong pull to slow down a little, explore, and live more freely. I believe life is meant to be experienced — through new places, conversations, music, and shared moments that remind us how big and beautiful the world is.
I’m currently based in Algiers, working in the pharmaceutical industry, and while I truly enjoy what I do, I realized I’ve been missing that spontaneous side of life — the one that comes with discovering a new city, meeting people from different backgrounds, and learning from their stories.
Istanbul has been on my list for a long time — not just for its culture and beauty, but because it feels like the perfect place to reconnect with that sense of adventure and human warmth. I’m looking forward to sharing good talks, laughter, and authentic experiences with locals and travelers alike.
I’m easygoing, respectful, and love meaningful exchanges — whether it’s over coffee, exploring hidden streets, or just enjoying quiet company.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Lately, I’ve been feeling the need to travel more and connect with people in a genuine way — not just visit places, but actually experience them through the eyes of locals. Couchsurfing feels like the perfect way to do that — to share stories, culture, and everyday life beyond the usual tourist path.
I’m looking for hosts who enjoy meaningful exchanges, good energy, and maybe a few adventures along the way. I love the idea of learning about new perspectives and making small, real connections that last longer than the trip itself.
My next destination is Istanbul, from the end of December until the beginning of January, for about a week. I’ve always wanted to experience the city’s atmosphere, its mix of history and modern life, and especially how it feels during New Year’s Eve. I’d love to stay with someone who could share a bit of their world with me — whether it’s hidden local spots, good conversations, or even just a cozy place to feel at home.
