I've been to Gwada (Guadeloupe) once, but I had to drive the whole time, because my used-to-be-known-as-my-boyfriend couldn't drive. I would like to meet new people, practice my languages so maybe in the future I'd have a traveller partner. So off course I don't charge anything, but I will put a 'tip-can' so you can show your appreciation of your stay. My interest for the moment go to food safety, food quality (my profession) and my two muts, but most of all being able to receive guests and see our city through the eyes of a 'tourist' (sorry for the word, I'll try to make you blend in!) and get to know the city even more!

The latest and most amazing thing I've lived through was december 2011, when on a Saturday evening and night, we helped to give birth to four little dogs and on Sunday loose their mother (which we've known for five years) and the other 4 unborn and a week later loose one of the 4 puppy's. I'm sorry if you're not into pets, I wasn't either a couple a years ago, but I hope you understand what an emotional rollercoaster that was. Luckily I'm a quality manager, so I knew how to keep everything sterile to raise the three remaining dogs without their mom. If you're planning to stay over, I hope you're not allergic to my two energetic puppies, 'Ti Punch & Paille (yep, that is indeed the name of a really good cocktail from Guadeloupe and a straw, need I say more about the place to travel to?)
