I am from Germany and having lived in Sydney and Bangkok I have now made Barcelona my home and have been living in this great city for 12 years. It would be great to welcome you to one of Barcelona´s most typical neighbourhoods, the Poblenou, next to Barcelona's best beaches. I I have always known and lived with people from different cultures and I enjoy meeting new people, exchanging experiences and opinions and would like to get to know the world from a different angle. Looking forward to the Couchsurfing experience welcoming people to Barcelona and meeting new folks all over the world. I am an easy-going person who can adapt easily to different environments. I am gay and while it's not a defining part of my personality, it's definitely part of who I am.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I will be on a sabbatical and plan to travel a fair bit. I want to meet people from the countries I´ll be visiting, getting to know them and the local culture, which is the very reason I´ll be going on this trip. Until I start the trip (and of course afterwards) I can host people who want to get to know Barcelona.

Música, películas y libros

I read a lot of biographies and nonfiction about history and travel literature. Got a passion for graphic novels, where you can learn about foreign countries, their history and society, like Marjane Satrapi or Guy Delisle. Other than that I am a newspaper addict.
I listen to and like almost any type of music, seriously everything...! :)

I love to eat, but fortunately love to cook as well, so I can share my favourite recipes with you - by cooking them of course ! As a German living in Spain, I am curious about languages and cultures and would enjoy telling you about both countries and their languages.
