ABOUT ME
Having grown up in Goch, a small town in the very West of Germany, directly at the Dutch boarder, I soon realized that I wanted to explore more, more of what the world has to offer. I started travelling and studying abroad, living in Japan, India, Spain and the Netherlands and visiting a lot of more places. One of the most important things that I have learned on these trips is that it is always amazing to meet new people, hear new languages, try new cuisines, view different landscapes and breath unfamiliar air. By now, I have nearly finished my university studies and currently I am working in my own company, next to which I teach at university. To be a successful entrepreneur and me and my co-founders are currently working hard to make this a reality. Irrespective, however, of whether I will continue as an entrepreneur or start working in another company, it is crucial for me to find a position in an innovative enterprise, which values creativity and makes a positive contribution to preserving the impressive richness of nature. And while working, throughout my entire future actually, I want to keep traveling, exploring and learning. For that, I am happy that all your couchsurfers are out there - and I hope to get the opportunity to meet many of you!
PHILOSOPHY
"Don't give up happiness today for an uncertain future." (Hou Chi-jan)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Unfortunately, I have quite little Couchsurfing experience up until now - but I would like to change that! My home is always open to friends, friends of friends, or people who just need a place to stay. Actually, most of the time, someone is staying over at my place and I simply enjoy hosting guests - so a great foundation for hosting more Couchsurfers in the future!
