I’m a creative professional with eclectic interests: from playing ukulele, yoga, and plant identification to pole dancing, cocktails, and thrifting. I'm a Florida native but currently nomadic. Extroverted, easy-going, and always seeking new perspectives and adventures. I look for the best in every person I meet and get energy from connection.

I had a career in graphic/UI design for 10 years before getting burned out and quitting in 2022 to experience life without being a slave to capitalism. Now I'm working on building a new career in photo journalism while I travel and find stories to tell.

I stay with my family in Sarasota and Orlando, FL when I'm not on the road so please reach out if you need recommendations or a friend in those area!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always heard about Couchsurfing from friends but never signed up. Now after a year of traveling and relying on the kindness of strangers in many cases, I'm here to try it! Community is one of my top values and I want to make connections wherever I am. If anything can save humanity it's the sharing of experiences, ideas, and knowledge in an intentional and respectful way.

For now I don't have my own home but I promise to host if/when I settle somewhere.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The thing I'm probably most proud of doing in my life so far is working to overcome the pressure from my society of who I 'should' be or what I 'should' be doing with my life. I can also do a headstand.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Love sharing food, music and other art, and photography. If I have it, I will share it. If we plan ahead I can bring you plant cuttings from Florida. At the very least I'll bake you some vegan treats!
