我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to meet locals and dive deep into the culture; the most exciting thing for me is to see how real people live, what they eat, how they spend their free time. I feel that Couchsurfing is a great community that (very generously!) gives you a little sneak peak into the real life beyond what you might read on the news & see on TV.

- I’m a crazy music lover attending 10 concerts per month and diving into everything that stands close to punk rock / indie / shoegaze / acoustic folk / pop music / jazz / r'n'b / classic rock (lol pretty much everything :)
- Same with movies - I love a damn good movie and that can be pretty much everything, from oldies to the modern comedies.
- One of the most important things I took from Moscow to New York were my books. More into fiction, but in the process of discovering whole new non-fiction world :)

- Left everything and moved from Russia to the US (New York) on my own without knowing anyone and had 3 amazing years of living in one of the craziest and greatest city in the world
- Discovered my wild side and multiple insights about myself in the middle of the Nevada desert
- Badass-ly hitchhiked across Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Europe
