ABOUT ME

So I am Sasha, born and raised among the corn and beanstalks of Indiana, USA. And these aren´t giant magic beanstalks, but little soybean sprouts. Each place in the world has something to offer though, and Indiana has the best popcorn in the world!

I was homeschooled for a while, and i´m a big nature person. I love hiking, camping, backpacking, walking, biking, exploring nature, and ROCK CLIMBING. When i´m not feeling the energy, I retreat to reading, writing, painting, photography, and carefully, carefully studying my pillow: I can´t pass up a good siesta!

I LOVE to cook. My specialty is Green Chicken Curry, but I have a repertoire. Just ask if you´d like, because I´d love to cook for you once or twice, and I can teach you to cook it! I´ll just need some help finding the ingredients, because I have some issues finding ingredients abroad.

Life in general confuses me at times, and I just go meditate off my stress. I study psychology because I am thoroughly fascinated by the inner workings of the human mind. I think the power of perception may be the strongest force in the world, and would love to debate this with you some time! Speaking of which, TED talks are excellent, and my favorite discusses the reengineering of dinosaurs.

I am not a big crowds person, but I like one on one conversation or small groups, and I love having intellectual conversations with interesting people.

I´d like to travel the world, from Europe to the Arctic, South to the North.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One moment that left me awestruck was here in Spain. I was walking in a park and garden and found an open-air temple with beaded curtains in each door. The beads made the sound of rain.

Another moment was backpacking at 13,000 feet in the mountains of Colorado.We reached the top and camped on the peak underneath a meteor shower. In the morning, a heard of elk passed the site, bellowing their greetings.
