Overview
About Me
I'm a Medical student on my 6th year of studies.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I haven't had any experience in either hosting or being hosted but I think it's a great possibility to get acquainted with the people all over the world, to help them to see your city not only from the tourist's side but to learn some secrets which know only citizens
Interests
Sure, first of all it's Medicine, I'm mostly interested in General Surgery and Oncology. During my free time I like to relax with a good book, I really try to read a lot. Another passion is languages, now I'm learning German and Polish step by step, hope to have big success in it and continue with something new. Definitely fond of travelling! I can't say that I have such big experience but it's still something and I expect from myself to widen my geographical horizons :) No travelling for me can exist without sightseeing and visiting art galleries and museums. The national cuisine of different countries - yup, that's wonderful but, honestly, optional for me, food is not the main thing :) also I really like music, I can play the piano, adore singing, from time to time trying to learn to play the guitar.

Music, Movies, and Books
Mostly Rock and Classical Music. My favourite bands are Led Zeppelin, The White Stripes, U2, Queen, Ozzy Osbourne, The Doors, AC/DC, Radiohead, Placebo, Green Day.
I can't say I've seen lots of movies so you can be surprised a lot that I haven't watched a movie that is considered to be classic. But I like films about struggling in different ways such as La vita è bella, The Pianist, Whiplash, Awakenings, The Notebook etc.
Books - lots and lots of them. I prefer books of Russian classical writers but read any others with big pleasure
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This summer I've had the medical internship in Poland for 2 weeks which has been really great and full of new experience, and during this time I've achieved one of my dreams - to go to the mountains. Though Polish mountains Tatry are not so high, the highest edge I've climbed is 2096m, but for me it has been a wonderful adventure full of beauty and emotions
Teach, Learn, Share
I can always tell you different things related to Medicine, teach you how to cook national Belarusian food and will help you to learn something in Belarusian :) and I'm always open to any new knowledge!
