About Me
I'm a romantic, idealistic, thinker type, always trying to put together some kind of logical universal understanding of my experiences in this world, and what it means to be here... I'm a total "meaning of life" kind of dude.
Born and raised in Chicago; living in Logan Square; I'm quite fluent in Spanish, and I do speak some French, but not fluently. That said, if you're trying to get some practice in I'm definitely into that.
I love to design/build/make things out of anything I can find, I have a deep interest in making sure that my furniture is situated in just the right spots of my apartment. I also have a long history with bicycles, mostly because they're just so useful and fun!
I absolutely love to wake up early and sip coffee. I'm a park stroller, roamer, wanderer... I'm also a great guest with a minimal footprint :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've couchsurfed a few times now, and it's a great way to travel and meet people at the same time, getting to know a place from the perspective of the people who actually live there while also getting an opportunity to test new waters.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a lot of instrumental music, from Jazz to funky producers collections;
Bluesy and soulful Classic Rock; HOUSE MUSIC and electronic; I am basically drawn to music for two main reasons: either it encourages calm contemplation (while drinking coffee for instance), or it gets me moving and shaking...
I'm not really into comics, but I love all of the Marvel movies! Hayao Miyazaki is one of my favorites. Thinky spacey stuff like Arrival, Interstellar, and many more I can't think of off the top...
Atlas Shrugged was a changer for me. I typically read an assortment of things through, in no order, and to no degree...
