COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I was at UVM back in the day, I met a really sweet guy on the bus from Boston to Burlington. He was homeless and traveling and selling pottery pipes which he would fire in the ground. I brought him home and he stayed (platonically) with my roommates and I for a number of days. We stayed loosely in touch for many years after that. We've lost touch since but I still have a rock he gave me.
