Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Don't really, just like people
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed in Moscow on my way to Mongolia - fantastic experiences with two very different women
Interests
where to begin?
people? - yes, definitely, infinitely absorbing, I love meeting new people and developing real friendships with those I know, love and trust. I love meeting people who are grappling with the changes in their lives, with how we move on and absorb our experiences into the tapestry that makes our life so richly textured.
places? - yes but not just for the sake of going there - it's the people and the creative energy that people have put into a place that makes it come alive for me - the architecture, the atmosphere, the arts, the restaurants, or the landscape and how people lives are so connected to it, shaped by it....
travel? yes, but nowadays not just for the experience, more for the mutual benefit, the sharing, learning. Ive had some wonderful encounters and experiences through travel and working in other cultures and it has changed my life deeply.
food? - yes, especially food that's cooked with heart rather than knowledge; food is for me a wonderful connector as well as life giver
- arts
- architecture
- dining
- working out
- traveling
- socializing

live music always best for me: no one genre, but many many inspiring musicians over the years from festivals to in my living room or garden; also love singing with friends or in a large group, esp songs from different parts of the world
