Hey everyone!
My name is Saskia, I am 20 years young and I grew up and live in Germany.
After finishing my A-Levels two years ago, I went to the USA for one year as an Au Pair to travel, perfect my English and experience the American lifestyle. I enjoined ever day there and it was simply an amazing year! It ended in the beginning of April 2017 and since then I am in China 🇨🇳 I am here for a six week marketing internship to prepare for my international business studies in the Netherlands starting in September 2017.
I will come back to Germany in the end of May and will spend my weeks before moving to the Netherlands with my loved ones and traveling.

I love to laugh and I would describe myself as an easy-going person. I am someone who spends chilled evening on the couch with my friends , watching tv and eating and also someone you can go out and have lots and lots of fun with!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Even though this is not my very first time doing couchsurfing, it is my first time looking for hosts myself. I decided to continue doing it in Europe because when I was in America me and my friends made amazing experiences, had so much fun with the hosts and really did it whenever we found someone nice to stay with. To me traveling to places is not only about the sightseeing, it is also about meeting people and getting real insights in a new life and culture that I couldn't get when staying in a hotel.

I don't really have a preference when it comes to movies and books. I watch and read whatever I am in the mood for. For music, I usually listen to whatever is in the charts.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

There are so many amazing things that I would just love to share! But if I have to pick one, for me it was going to Thailand for three weeks and spending 5 days in an elephant camp. It was wonderful and one of the experiences that I will never never forget! 🐘
