Hi there! I'm Saskia. I would describe myself as a open minded and easy-going person with a positive attitude. I love to meet new people and learn about their views on life.

I try to see the beauty in anything and any place, and there are many things that make me happy. It could be just a take-away coffee while watching people, dancing in the middle of the street, a cold beer during sunset (or just a cold beer works too) or a singing bird during a hike.

Apart from discovering beautiful new places, the main reason for traveling for me is exploring the culture. Is there a better way to do this than staying with locals? I don't think so! Besides this, while hosting people with different cultures come to me. It's a win-win situation.

- Worked in 'The Land of the Aboriginals', a super remote area in Australia where a permit is needed to enter. While cleaning cabins, we were surrounded by wallabies, dingoes and beautiful birds.

- Bungeejumping in South Africa.

- Life itself is pretty amazing, isn't it?
