About Me

Current Mission:
get to know my new but old hometown Münster and build a network with great and lovely people there. And then follows traveling again. To nice people, to nice places. To get in touch with culture and get little new roots.

Adventuress with heart and soul. Enjoy exploring the unknown, meeting new people and listening to stories from interesting cultures, foreign countries and wise people.

I've been to a few countries myself, but rarely further away than on my home continent. I feel a deep connection to my roots, and I appreciate my own culture as much as anyone else. Respect and appreciation are the golden key, as well as open eyes and ears. When I travel, I experience a lot, do a lot of interesting and crazy things, and I'm always there with my subtle sense of humor. I love spontaneously experiencing new things, and I'm not afraid to speak openly and warmly to people I've never met before. I've replaced shame with courage. And courage means fear + 1step = courage. You just need the intention to want to understand it. If you understand it and if you're brave, then your quality of life improves.

I love the alternation between action and calm. Just sitting around doing nothing is not my style. My style is to share my life with people who want the same.

My mission as a traveller: the journey is the destination!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In 2021, I read the novel of a world traveler. It was a pretty good book that completely captivated me. At that time, my phase of self-reliance was just beginning. I learned to step out of the role of victim and to embolden myself.

I learned to say "I can do this!" instead of claiming the opposite. The book accompanied me on this path, because the author was about the same age as me at the time of his world travel and was dealing with very similar topics in his personality development.

At the very end of the book, he noted tips for travelers. And in it was also the link to Couchsurfing, which he used a few times during his trip. So I then took the bold step of signing up for myself. And since then, I feel the 3 euros a month that I invest in Couchsurfing is pretty well spent. Because I invest in my positive environment.
