ABOUT ME

My fondness to spend a lot of time outside evolved during my semester abroad in Norway. There I've done a lot of cabin- and hiking-trips. Since then I started to get interested in hiking and climbing. I also like bicycling (because it is faster then hiking :P ).

I finished my studies in Computer Science at the University of Leipzig and worked for a few years in projects with focus semi-automatically analizing privacy policies.

I'm an open-minded, friendly and humorous person. (but who is not?!) And actually it's quite easy to convince me for loony actions :P

My girlfriend Christin finished her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology.

Right now, we are travelling around the world together. After some months in asia and an awsome roadtrip through New Zealand in our own campervan it's time to leave NZ autum to get warm again under the polynesian sun.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting new people while couch surfing is such a nice way to get in contact with so many different and diverse kinds of people. Everyone has his/her own story to tell and skills to teach. Every encounter widened my horizon a made me grow a bit more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was in my mid-twenties I surfed and hosted quite a few times and enjoyed every experience. After a longer surfing-break it's time to start again as I am currently travelling around the world with my partner.
