Be nice to me and I'll be nicer to you twice, I love trying many new things, before I get old and boring. I must admit I still feel a bit scared of entering a new community with no one I know and still don't have the guts to travel solo to overseas. Sports-maniac esp. swimming, running and dancing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I knew about cs from one of Indonesian famous singer who once talked about this in a newspaper. I googled it, became a member, surfed once, hosted twice n now since I live in Singapore, I started to join the dinners, gatherings where I met friendly, independent, amazing people who are different with my daily colleagues n usual circle of friends ( which is good n refreshing changes) ;))

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

have tried couchsurfing back in November 2010 when I took my diving course in Bali. My host was a nice guy and i was his first couchsurfer. i'im wondering what his friends were thinking...a single little girl travelled alone to Bali and stayed at a stranger's house :D. i have hosted 2 guys from France and India as well back when i was still living in Jakarta. it was a pleasant experience as i can learn their cultures, unfortunately it also gave me a scary experience as well...thank god Im alright. will be more careful next time. i joined a cs event once when i just moved to singapore. happy to know the cs activities here is so alive, unlike jakarta.

I love all kinds of music that catchy to my ears from Luciano Pavarotti to spice girls, Britney, Alicia keys, Coldplay, some dangdut songs from Indonesia, some soundtracks from Kill Bill and Django Unchained..I have weird taste in music yeah.

Books: Japanese manga, Sydney Sheldon, Jackie Colins, my guilty pleasure, Ajahn Bhrams.

couchsurfing, both surfing and hosting...and..of course diving!

Amazing things I've seen is an entertainment show at China called "Changing the faces a.k.a bian lian". Within seconds, the performers were able to change their masks in front of the audiences with just simple moves like waving their robes in front of their face, turned their heads to the back and instantly back to the front.

Teach - I'm willing to share any knowledge I posses. Just ask for it. I can teach you some words in Mandarin, dirty language in Bahasa, body jam (dancing) and also some boring things related to Indonesian taxation, accounting and auditing haha.

Learn - I believe that everybody is created differently and unique and everybody has a story to share from the perspective of their different backgrounds and experiences. I try to learn new things everyday .. whether it's just a new simple vocab in English or a new route on my way to the office
