ABOUT ME

I study Writing and Russian @ University College London but now I just live in London until summer when I go back to Pittsburgh to finish school. I enjoy living like a vagabond, cultural immersion, getting lost and finding myself, new friends, engrossing conversation, books, cooking, dancing far beyond the point when it's embarrassing.

Call me Sassy.

PHILOSOPHY

The possibilities are endless, the world is huge, and you can only enjoy it if you open your mind, open your eyes (wide), and spread positive energy.

I'd love to host surfers who come to London, or to Pittsburgh. I'd like to see this CS community thrive because I really dig the idea.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I would eat books if they tasted better.
My favorite is The Sun Also Rises and I like postmodern stuff too. The Once & Future King is my joint. And Russian fiction. And books in French. And books by beatniks and hippies, like Howl and Fear and Loathing. And also political science books.

Music: Anything groovy, Deerhoof! Music that makes the hips shake. Psychedlic jams, Brazilian funk, indie rock, hip-hop, Bizet, Dvorak. Beats. Bass.

Movies: A Clockwork Orange, Kikujiro, Vanilla Sky, The Squid & The Whale, The Life Aquatic, documentary footage from the 1960s and 1950s sex-ed movies (funny!)
