Hello, I'm Satnaam, getting back onto Couchsurfing in 2023 after a few years away!
I've lived in lots of exotic places on the paradise island of the UK, but I love hitting the road and meeting new people and cultures.
I can host you in London, or just meet up and show you around etc too :-)

My non-negotiables:
- I cook pizza in the oven with the fan on at 200 degrees!
- grey looks great on me
- fried chicken is a local London delicacy!

Intereses

Eating through a town, preferably with friends or lovers and mentors and future leaders of their communities.
Playing outside.
Will pay money for an electronic music festival, and more money for the drinks inside the festival grounds.
Keeping my body and mind in fine fettle through lots of activity - sports like running, cycling and swimming, mind sports like learning a city's local transport network, and hiking large hills.

I stopped a fight in the school playground when I was 9 years old. I grabbed one of the boys, also 9 years old, from behind and managed to wrap my arms around him in an attempt to slow down his flailing fists . With all the force I could muster at this tender age, I was able to pivot the aggressor away from the other violent 9 year old boy. Both were sobbing hard. Within a minute - but what felt like an eternity - the scene had calmed down and I was being congratulated by the teacher on duty.

I learn by doing and then taking regular exams, gradually improving by taking lots of re-sits and learning answers from memory.
