ABOUT ME

I am a fairly quiet person, playful, I enjoy nature, dancing and walking. I was born and grew up in Dakar, Senegal where I lived for 16 years. I have a rich multicultural background and as a result enjoy meeting people from different countries, and cultures. In the recent years, I have been learning about Nonviolence, the work of Gandhi at the root of social change. I love reading, watching movies, meditating, doing yoga and breathing.

PHILOSOPHY

To learn to see the humanity in people. I live my life to grow, to become more aware and to be of service.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no couch surfing experience so I am a bit nervous about it. I have though plenty of experience hosting friends and being hosted.

Interests

My interests are permaculture, being in nature, learning about it and the universe, dancing, people, silence, reading, mediating, going to the cinema, happiness, and peace.

My favourite author is Siri Hustvedt and I like her book What I Love.
I like Sade, Bat for Lashes, Noa and more. I watched Harry Potter again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am continuously learning about interdependence and how to practically live nonviolence in my daily life.

I enjoy learning from people who walk their talk, who see life differently, are kind, compassionate and appreciate diversity.
