My current mission is to see the world, meet people, have adventures, and to one day convince NASA I'd make an excellent astronaut.

ABOUT ME

I am a writer by profession, and have wanderlust. I love reading, animals(4 cats, 1 dog), more reading, some tv, and dance for exercise. I like reading science fiction and fantasy and am working on my second science fiction poetry collection. I go for walks, do yoga. I'm pretty much a new age-y sort, but also down to earth. In other words, I won't offer you a crystal as soon as you step in the door.

PHILOSOPHY

That life is a game, and that we choose to play. We choose which role to play, and once playing, we forget it's a game. I live my life to have the fullest experiences possible, and so that I won't be sitting in the nursing home, thinking: "I never did..."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am happy to host travellers, to aid them in their travels. I believe in karma. If I put in, and help others achieve their dreams, then the wheel will turn, and I will be aided in my travel dreams, and others as well. I am curious about people and cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have tandem parachuted over the Yarra Valley; watched sunrise at Macchu Picchu, bottle fed baby lions and tigers; taken caracal kittens for walks on a leash; surfed in Hawaii, dog-mushed in Canada; celebrated Thanksgiving in Nebraska; had an affair in Rhode Island; married in South Africa to a Canadian.
