ABOUT ME

I am currently a Peace Corps Volunteer in Benin, West Africa. I live in the northern part of the country in a village named Ina. I am a Community Economic Development Volunteer. I work with an NGO that helps groups do beekeeping and honey transformation. I live in a house without running water or electricity. Life in West Africa is an adventure and overall pretty great.

I have a passion for travel and I love to learn. In college, I studied abroad three times in Valparaíso, Chile; Madrid, Spain; and Lima, Peru. I backpacked throughout Europe all by myself for six weeks. Also, I traveled to Africa (Morocco), Venezuela, Colombia, and Argentina as well as all over Spain and Peru. My goal is to step foot on all seven continents by the time I am 25!

I was born and raised in Texas.... so I'm a pretty awesome person... or at least my mother tells me so....

PHILOSOPHY

I'd rather be traveling the world than crunching numbers in a cubicle.
