One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Is care for Veteran's as a licensed nurse assistant. American history came alive for me, as they shared their lives with me. They also brought or continued their own hobbies in the nursing home. One women carved wood into small figurines and painted them. My favorite was a brown bear holding a rainbow fish. Another women's room was decorated with stained glass lamps and window art she had created at home, and a man completed 1,000 piece puzzles and glued them together.
