About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To expand my horizons, learn about other cultures, travel the world, and live life to the fullest! Oh yeah, and to have fun. :)

ABOUT ME

I am an optimist in the truest sense. I love being silly and try not to care too much about how stupid I probably look most of the time. :) I've recently discovered how being around open, loving people can truly change your life and I'd like to pass that warmth and friendship on to other people. If I can learn about other people and cultures, and travel a little in the process than so much the better. :D

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness is a choice. When you dedicate yourself to enjoying everything about whatever you're doing you find true satisfaction in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to start by hosting and eventually move into surfing a little here and there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, but I'm excited to get started!

Interests

Reading, writing, movies, trying new things, building memorable experiences, bowling, cookouts, go-karts, mini golf. The list goes on and on...

  • writing
  • running
  • trivia
  • movies
  • reading
  • traveling
  • sudoku
  • surfing
  • skydiving
  • golf
  • bowling

Music, Movies, and Books

I would like to say I read these highly intellectual books but it's not true. I've recently discovered Sue Grafton. I like the Sookie Stackhouse books (even thought they're not the greatest quality), and I love Dean Koontz. I like just about any music except for country and screaming hard rock. I LOVE movies. Everything from Singing in the Rain to The Expendables. I enjoy comedies and action flicks the most and can't get enough of the retro classics like Back to the Future and Ghostbusters. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been on a cruise to Mexico, which was amazing, and I've been a contestant in Fear Factor Live at Universal Studios. Most of my amazing experiences are just getting ready to start. This spring/summer I'm going ziplining, skydiving, and running in a zombie obstacle course. :)
