Hello! My name is Savannah & my girlfriend's name is Megan. We both are currently living in Eugene, Oregon; however, I'm from Harrisonburg, VA & Megan is from Raleigh, NC.

In the summer of 2016, I drove across the country to embark on my life-long dream journey to Alaska. Unfortunately, I ran out of money August 2016 & had to settle- aka why I'm in Eugene. Megan moved to Eugene in November of 2016 & we both happened to get the same job (coincidence...... I think not). Despite not reaching Alaska (yet), I'm very blessed to have decided to stay in Eugene because I met the most amazing human being in the world... Megan. We've fallen in love & here we are ❤❤

We both love exploring immensely. Since both of us have the weekends off, Megan & I try to go somewhere new every single weekend. So far, we've explored the entire side of Oregon west of Eugene & have even ventured up into Washington (Seattle ❤).

Baking is my passion. I graduated with a Baking & Pastry art Associate's degree in the winter of 2015. Food is art that makes people happy & I love being the person that makes people happy. Megan & I both love food in general though. I'm a vegetarian & she's a raging carnivore (no really... she loves her burgers). Whenever we go somewhere new, we try to find the most eccentric items on menus so we can experience anything & everything. (Same with beer)

Speaking of!! Megan is a beer enthusiast. She absolutely loves, adores, & cherishes beer 100%. Since I've met her, my love for beer has grown as well. Wheats are her favorite & mine changes each time I drink a new beer (for real though, why are they so good?)

She's also an avid weight lifter. She doesn't compete or anything, just does it because she absolutely loves it. Her body is her temple & she chooses to cherish it. It's beautiful, really. Her dedication. ❤ I've tried.... not my thing

OH. We both LOVE ANIMALS. I can guarantee that if you have a pet, we will cherish your pet like it's the only pet left on this world. I promise you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What's a better way to experience a foreign place than by immersing yourself into someone's life who lives in that foreign place?? We both want to open ourselves up to new experiences & adventures. Couchsurfing gives us the ability to have a wholesome traveling experience & i think forming bonds & creating friendships with people from all over the world is a great way to learn about humanity & yourself.

Megan enjoys artists like: Alt-J, Phoenix, queens of the Stone Age, Matthew Dear, the Smiths, interpol, fever ray, childish gambino, & when she's lifting she listens to super rap music

We both love watching scary movies.. we have a tendency to make fun of them though.

Megan has really gotten into comic books lately- superheroes are her jam. Batman for life.
I like reading books that I can relate to or that I can be empathetic with. My favorite is Paper Towns by John Green

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

worked at the White House in Washington D.C. Christmas of 2014 & 2015 decorating their famous Christmas cookies (photos are uploaded in my profile photo album :-)).
^^ I didn't meet Obama but I got to meet & cuddle his dogs..... so that's a win (photo uploaded.. that's Sunny)

Megan was fourth in the state for the 2 mile in indoor track, & she also played professional women's football 😍

Megan & I have both driven across the country!! (Megan's been to Mexico..... :-))

Megan graduated with a Bio degree from North Carolina State University so she can give you all the deets on aquatic life. (I didn't even know tide pools were a thing until I met her). & Like I mentioned earlier, she's also a beer lover so anything beer she can talk about for daaaaays
