Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In 2017 I travelled for 5 months and used CS to meet people as I travel. I love being exposed to different cultures and hearing stories of people's lives.

Photography, contemporary art and film. I'm also interested in sociology and poetry.

Movies: Beginners, My Own Private Idaho, Basketball Diaries, The Graduate, Amelie. Favourite directors are Mike Mills, Gus Van Sant and Michael Gondry.
Music: I listen to everything from folk/acoustic, to industrial/house music. The Middle East, Elliot Smith, Methyl Ethyl, The Internet, Youth Lagoon, Happyness, Whitney.
Books: Just Kids by Patti Smith, The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran, Crossing the Unknown Sea by David Whyte.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2016, I completed Vipassana as a personal challenge, and shaved my hair!

Learn: I'd like to learn weaving techniques, and open to learning bits and pieces of languages.
