Hi!

A little about me:

I recently graduated (December of 2018) from the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) majoring in Psychology. During my years at UMD I was able to study abroad for a year in Galway, Ireland. My decision to study abroad was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life and my passion for traveling has grown ever since then. I currently work as a Behavioral Technician in Duluth, Minnesota helping children with autism achieve age appropriate developmental goals. I am currently taking a year off to work, gain experience in my field, and apply to graduate school.

I believe that it is extremely important to be open to all perspectives and views regardless of one's own.

Traveling has forever changed my life and I will continue to explore till the day I die.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking for affordable accommodation while traveling and the chance to meet someone new. I love local culture and immersing myself in the culture of where ever I am!

I am not good at picking favorites. I am a complete book worm, appreciate movies and love music! I listen to pretty much anything except rap.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Slept in the Sahara desert (might not seem that amazing for some but for someone from Minnesota, I can tell you that it was a profound experience!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play the bassoon. I'm also a great cook so I can cook for you or even better we could swap recipes. Story swapping is a favorite of mine as well.

I love learning about people's cultures, interests, viewpoints, fun facts, weird facts, pretty much anything you can impart would be great! :)
