I am a 23-year old photographer, filmmaker, college student and, most importantly, passionate traveler. I was born and raised in Myanmar (Burma), came to the U.S for college, did an internship at a branding agency in San Francisco this past summer and am currently studying abroad in Prague, Czech Republic. I've come a long way and plan to go even further.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, traveling offers food, adventure and people. My favorite things to do whenever traveling to a new place is to find the best local cuisines/bars and, as cliché as it may sound, to go off the beaten path. I'll do the must-see tourist attractions but I always find myself having a better time when I hang out with local people who know the place deeper than just lonelyplanet suggestions. I love showing friends around to my favorite spots in whichever city/town I'm in and the satisfaction of knowing that I played a part in someone having a good time. It would be awesome to meet hosts and make new friends who know the hidden gems of the city.

Interests

Food: I love exploring local specialities and also cooking myself. I can make a variety of cuisines and I am definitely up for cooking my gracious hosts a traditional Burmese meal.
Craft beers: Craft beers.
Photography, Film (watching, making, talking about, falling asleep to, etc.), playing soccer, live music bars, and hanging out.
