ABOUT ME

commitment-phobe is such a strong word... i much prefer obligation-free and/or carefree!!
after avidly putting off my discovery of 'the real world' (as they say), and taking advantage of a lot of travel opportunities, i decided to become a teacher. it's truly the best of both worlds--working for the greater good and having summers free for far-off adventures!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Ok--after coming in strong, I've been MIA in the CS community for a little while now, and I am ready to get back all up in it! Other ways: I've donated. I surf everytime I travel to the unknown, I've hosted when people want to come to Virginia Beach. I brag to all my friends about it and the amazing people I've met. I make them join.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

couchsurfed :
april 2006- 2x on an east coast road trip
may/june 2006- 6 cities in western europe
feb/april 2007- lots throughout costa rica
oct 2007 - 5 cities in eastern europe
july/aug 2008 - 3 california towns

hosted 3 times so far...

I've had only absolutely amazing experiences!!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

my claim to amazing things is having skydived twice!!! I also spent an incredible week in the Bahamas on an alternative spring break trip through JMU working in an elementary school! And I ran a half marathon after deciding to the night before! I participated in the making of 2 awesome short films. and volunteered at a school in costa rica. life is AMAZING!
