About Me
ABOUT ME
I really like meeting new people and learn a lot from others, but I can also be shy and enjoy time by myself a lot. But, I definitely would feel lost in the world without the awesome people I know who've taught me so much. I enjoy working hard and outside as much as possible, but lazy days are wonderful also. It's hard to say "all about you(me)". We'll probably get a long. I like to feed people, make sure they've got what they need and that they are enjoying themselves. I like little day trips to fun places in the area and I love to hear people's stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted and cooked for a few groups of bicycle tourists over the last year. I really enjoyed having those folks through! I'd love to have more people come through on their journeys. It's also fun to give friendly hitchhikers rides and a warm meal.
Interests
Mining flea markets for good records, riding my bike, walking around, traveling some and settling some, animal hide preservation (snakes mostly), hanging out with my neighbors and friends, reading, wild foods, gardening, cooking, I feel like interests change with the seasons, so its hard to say.

Music, Movies, and Books
Education of Little Tree, Lies my Teacher Told Me, Walt Whitman poetry, The Descent.
Music? I like a lot of old stuff, Fats Domino, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn but I love to dance to rap and dubstep and just about anything. I love Mad Max.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Working at a Montessori school for low-income kids a few summers ago. Changed my outlook on teaching, love, the way we treat people in our society. Still trying to figure it out. And morbid as it may seem, skinning snakes and other stuff. It's an amazing process that I love and really's just biology.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot of basics about plants and growing food as well as a few houseplants. I like cooking. I'm learning a lot about architecture and design in my classes these days, and I'd really love to continue that learning. I like preserving animals, skins and wings right now.
I'd love to know more about backwoods camping and backpacking, engines, graffiti and other art, and cool places you've been.
