I am originally from Tokyo but recently I decided to change my way of life to a slower pace and moved into the beautiful countryside of Matsudai. I spent a few years in America learning English and finishing school there, and a bit of time in Thailand and HongKong. Speaking English is really important to me! I love to spend the evening relaxing with friends with good food and beer and Japanese sake!

I want to hang out with people who have different backgrounds and I also want my guests to know how fantastic my place is. Matsudai is a typical Japanese small town where all the locals work together doing things like the rice planting and harvest together. There is a bike race that goes through the area every year and an art festival once every few years. Its a hilly area, a few hours away from the Japan Northern Alps and Hakuba for example, but still has its own small ski field. Come and visit me!
