I'm a grad student, studying public health and epidemiology. I grew up in Beijing, China. I had a great passion in mountaineering before my 20, and was an active member in a youth mountaineering team. I did long-distance running and rock climbing, only for physical training of mountaineering. But something changed had broken down the plan to be a professional. Life is always changing. The good thing is, I find my other passions.

I travelled around China and other Asian countries with my parents when I was young. After graduating from high school, I started to travel alone but most of time was companied with someone I knew in that city, or made new friends on the road. So the real alone time was not that much. Living or traveling in a new country gives me a different experience. You are surrounded by new environments, interact with different personal characteristic, and sometimes had to open your heart. It had not always been good things happened in travel, but it has always been a great pleasure to recall everything, although we don't even talked about it. But like Holden in the catcher in the rye said, "don't ever tell anybody anything. If you do, you start missing everybody". But JD Salinger wrote a book to tell the stories. I'd rather to talk in person.
