ABOUT ME

i do a lot of writing about personal experiences, but i thrive on hearing the stories of friends and strangers. i think we all have our own paths, our own histories; and it's all very captivating, very mysterious, and very wonderful!

i'm currently a college student at ohio university in athens, graduating in june of '09, majoring in psychology and creative writing, with a focus in nonfiction. i also love learning about philosophy, history, sociology, anthropology, journalism, politics, engineering, architecture, mathematics, science, technology, the arts...you name it.

CURRENT PLANS
this summer i'm going to hitch across the country (ohio to cali and back). i'm going to travel by thumb, at my own pace, and sleep outside if i can't find a host. but i hope CouchSurfing helps me meet a lot of great people along the way!

this will be a way of challenging myself like i never have before. consider it a rebellion against fear and greed.

PHILOSOPHY

in the years to come, how do you want to say you lived your life now???

in other words, leave no room for regrets if you can help it. have fun, stay busy, stay in touch, be productive, smile, be content with what you have, love the one you're with, apologize, accept apologies, question your intentions, follow the golden rule, understand the intrinsic value of anything, don't chase money or fame, say hi, hold the door, think before you speak, mean what you say, understand that happiness is only real when shared, don't let the right one walk out the door...
