About Me

CURRENT MISSION

be reborn, get back something of a real active life

ABOUT ME

After ten years of closeting because of ME, I have recovered so much that I want to try expand my horizon now and then again. This might sound a bit dull and over cautious. I still can't rely on myself too well. Partly because things tend to take too much energy, but also because I'm not used yet to the amount of possibilities that lie ahead of me.

I found out in recent years that while taking a holiday sightseeing the hot spots is a dull experience. Put me on a terrace in the centre of Barcelona and I enjoy it a lot, after that I might want to see some things, but not too much too fast.

I'd like to engulf myself with things, and like to take time for that. I am a difficult person when it comes to interests. Things grab me, or they don't; when they do I want to know all of it in detail, when not I can't be bored more. Its difficult for me to predict which of the two will happen.

I like to talk to people to find out what makes them do what they do. But I'm a bit shy at first, always a bit afraid people don't like me. When I overcome that I can be very good company.

things I like:

a deep interest for wines (the taste, not the "Big" names)
a vast knowledge of classical music: I like to broaden my horizon
a big hobby is collecting lesser known composers around 1820 - 1950.
I like cooking very much. I like to think of recipes like they're a direction, and not a religion. I also like to fiddle around a lot, but mostly with good results.
oooh yes, eating that stuff I like as well!!

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy might be a bit harsh ...
there is nothing important, for there is no compelling reason for the importance of any existence. whether its the universe or being it life itself.
This results that everyone has to make up for them selves what they like most, or want to have done most.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not sure if I do bring much in into the CS community. A bit of social kindness maybe, a nice dinner or a good conversation with those interested.
