About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To connect with people around the world, be inspired and always learn.

ABOUT ME

I love baking, have a good sense of humour and my favourite thing to do is people watch and listen to conversations in languages I don't understand.

I grew up in the North East of England and spent my summers camping in various parts of France with my family. My parents have passed on their adventurous nature to me, and I am constantly planning my next trip and scheduling in time to explore the world.

I have spent the last 12 months living in Australia and am currently back in Europe to visit friends and family and explore new places.

PHILOSOPHY

"A comfort zone is a really beautiful place where absolutely nothing gets done."
I believe that travel is the most important and exciting way to learn about yourself, the world around you and other people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far just surfing but I will be available to host when I move back to Sydney. I am currently living back home with my parents so unfortunately unable to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On friend's sofas in London and Sydney.

Interests

Fashion, art, food, yoga, people. I completed a degree in Fashion in 2012, specialising in eco and ethical fashion. I love cooking and would spend happily spend all my time baking cakes and doing yoga. And eating gelato - my one true love.

Music, Movies, and Books

Generally old classic novels, war literature, my favourite author is Louis de Berniers. Acoustic music (mainly), although I also love rock and have a pretty serious obsession with Dolly Parton.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A midnight firework display on a lake in Italy, snorkelling in Indonesia, island hopping in Croatia, living in a straw house on an Organic farm in Australia.
