About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Achieving my To Do list items, one at a time. Also, I do make an effort to try and learn the languages I listed as 'learning'. (But that's sort of part of the list...)

ABOUT ME

Really outgoing, I cannot stop talking (I also talk in my sleep just so you know), I love to meet new people. I would say I'm funny, if you get sarcasm. If not, I seem mean... But I'm not. I'm very different from everyone I meet, but I'm so different than the person I was yesterday...

I go nuts for playoffs ! If the Habs make it... I'm just getting into football too.

Loves cats. Gets along with dogs. Doesn't particularly enjoy home birds because I feel like they feel they don't belong in a cage and they put it out on me.

PHILOSOPHY

Orbis Non Sufficit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Learning by doing is way more instructive. I have a passion for travelling, and I've always loved geography. As I want to become a teacher, I think experiencing each place I'm talking about will make it so more interesting for the children/students.

I also want to hear new ideas, new ways of thinking, everyone's tip on what happiness is. I've read that I'm probably doing this to find where I belong, because I feel like I don't belong anywhere. How do they not see? I do belong in one place, the world.

Interests

It's hard to say, because I like everything. So here's a list of what I like and/or love : languages, movies especially those starring Kevin Costner, boat trips, cookies, economics as a field (not as a 'let's talk about Canada's economy..'), country roads, my family, Sunflower State, plane flights (I know I'm weird for that), Rockies, maple syrup, two-stepping and western swing, singing, and some other things I cannot remember at the moment

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is country! Or rock alternative, depending on the day and the occasion. I have recently discovered EDM, but i'm still ambiguous regarding the degree of likeness it deserves.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Woke up one morning and decided to quit my job, pick up everything and leave, drive 27 hours straight to go live with my friend on the west coast. One of my greatest decisions.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm all about sharing laughs. But also the winter culture. You read me. Winter is almost a religion, and people who dislike it are probably doing it wrong. I want to share one huge part of my culture with you. I want to make you feel like getting three feet of snow at your doorstep tomorrow would be the best thing in the world.

Countries I’ve Visited
